We all see that the world as we knew it is being turned upside down by Trump and Musk. Although Musk has insulted European leaders he has vowed not to turn off Starlink for Ukraine.

“To be extremely clear, no matter how much I disagree with the Ukraine policy, Starlink will never turn off its terminals,” said Musk in a tweet on 9 March. “We would never do such a thing or use it as a bargaining chip.” (MSN)

Few believe Musk to be a man of his word and European leaders are increasingly worried about the dependence on the world leading satcoms constellation controlled by the USA, now seen as an unreliable partner likely to leave NATO.

You may remember that Musk refused to activate Ukrainian access to Starklink over Crimea in August 2023.
